There’s a bit too much lemongrass for me here. I was really hoping I’d fall in love with this one. The smell is amazing. I can maybe get a hint of cinnamon, but nothing in the way of pineapple or coconut.

Update: As this cools the cinnamon is coming out more.

This one has a buttery, fruity smell dry.

This one’s lightly fruity with a hint of spiciness at the end of the sip. Is that the goji berries? I think I may try to steep it longer next time for a bit more flavour, seems like it could be a bit more flavourful. But definitely good.

Another unflavoured oolong to measure up against Tung Ting Vietnam. This one is pretty good, but with more of a floral taste. Overall a great tea, but I prefer the Tung Ting Vietnam.

I can’t stop drinking it, yet I’m not really sure what it is I like about drinking it. Also great resteeped!

Update: 4th resteep, still going strong. After 5 steeps, this was the only tea I had all evening.

I couldn’t decide what to do with this for the longest time. It just sat in my cupboard because I didn’t want to risk wasting it. Today I threw it in a smoothie suggested to me by Sil and it was awesome!

Thanks a million Will Work For Tea!

This one actually smells quite good, like an apple cinnamon pastry. The cooler it gets, the more the nutty taste comes out.

The scent of vanilla is so comforting. I can taste the vanilla too. Really well done and not overwhelming. I’m slowly finding more and more variations of Earl Grey to enjoy.

I love the smell of strawberry here, though it’s more strawberry candy. The bergamot is more subtle and the strawberry is more at the forefront. An enjoyable cup!

I have yet to find a rooibos I enjoy. The smell dry is very caramel, but steeped it has a somewhat medicinal scent and taste.

I’d suggest Creme Caramel by DAVIDsTEA, it’s pretty tasty, I just tried it yesterday :), Jessie’s Tea isn’t too bad either, very sweet and if you like coconut, you will probably enjoy it! My favorite rooibos though would have to be Lemon Chiffon by Della Terra Teas. I hope you eventually find one that you like!

This smells almost peppery? Is that right? Perhaps that’s the lemongrass. I’m not really enjoying this one. I have enough for another cup so I’ll have to try it iced.

Profile

Bio

I love black and oolong (unroasted/green and red preferable to roasted) teas, followed by green or red rooibos, herbals, whites, and subtly flavoured greens.

Likes:
Blackcurrant, raspberry, strawberry, peach, apricot, rhubarb, passionfruit, redcurrant, fig, and most fruits in general, maple, creaminess, hay, biscuit, lavender, and cacao/dark chocolate.

I enjoy bergamot when paired with flavours that mellow it.

Dislikes:
Any smokiness at all, stevia, too much blackberry leaf, rose, jasmine, ginger (except in chai), cinnamon-heavy teas, anything cloying or fake/candy-like.

I’m vegan and have a potato allergy, so I avoid animal products in tea, along with sprinkles as these often have potato starch (I’ll happily pick them out of blends).
