Tried again and my previous review still stands- just not enough spice.

Seems I had been in the minority with liking this blend. Tried it again and it’s fine, but the clove is really overwhelming and I’m just not loving it anymore.

I’m actually running pretty low on autumnal teas, so decided to grab this when Smith restocked the Ice Cream Royale Oolong that I love. I’ve become pretty picky about teas with this flavor profile, there’s just so many and most are very meh. This one is nice though! The clove, cinnamon, and ginger are nicely balanced. The ancho chili gives a bit of spice, just in the back of my throat. The vanilla rounds everything out.

It’s not really a pumpkin tea, more of a pumpkin spice blend, but it’s well-blended and works well.

Just took out some of the teas I reserve for October, this being one of them. The bag is pretty old, but with time the squashy pumpkin, spices, and bergamot have all started to meld more harmoniously.

Sipdown 24 – 2025

Understeeped this last cup and it was a bit watery.

From the TTB. This was nice. Mostly lavender, a touch of bergamot. The black base was pretty mild and didn’t overpower the lavender/bergamot.

Finished off another 15g bag. Still super tasty. Buttery florals.

Sipdowns have been few and far between the last few months. This is a sad sip down, it’s a blend I really enjoy. But, really trying not to buy any new tea right now.
