Kaylee Advent Day 6!
There were two butterfly pea flowers in there that I pulled out, and the rest of the blend is mostly lemongrass, which I’m a fan of! I’m drinking this sweetened and cold, and it’s quite nice! I get mostly gentle lemongrass flavor. I don’t know why I enjoy the flavor of lemongrass so much, but even though there’s not much more going on here, I’m happy!
Kaylee Advent Day 5!
H&S makes pretty decent EGs! I taste a good amount of bergamot, though the base tea may not be quite my favorite. Looks like I rated this 88 in the past, and I still think this is a solid option, but I’ll lower the score a little. The resteep was pretty nice! Kaylee also included the cutest little snail teabag string holders, which I will 100% use, so thank you!!
Kaylee Advent Day 4!
This is the first tea I tried from Adagio, years before I ever joined Steepster. At the time, I loved it, and have ordered it several times since. I haven’t ordered from Adagio in a few years because I grew tired of their teas, sadly including this one! But it will be nice to try this again to see if that has changed.
Unfortunately, I also made myself a cup of eton mess from B&B at the same time, and that one is a similar flavor profile, but with a lot more intrigue. This one is pretty plain tart red fruit, which isn’t bad, but I’d choose eton mess over this one every time.
S&V Advent Day 2!
I actually love this tea! I taste spices and baked elements. The black tea is a good base for it. It all tastes nice together, and the resteep was tasty too.
Kaylee Advent Day 1!
I was so excited to open my gift box from Kaylee this morning! I mostly just taste the hot pepper-style spice with only a little fruit. I feel like my mouth never knows what to think of spicy fruity teas! It’s best cold. It looks like last time, I rated this a 70, and I think that’s still just about right!
S&V Advent Day 1! (though I’ll only be recording teas that are new to me here)
This was so fresh with a nice black base supporting. I can taste the berry flavors, but the juniper, birch, and other elements really keep this one interesting! The resteep was almost as good as the first! I liked it best cold with milk and sugar.

I like lemongrass too, it often reminds me of lemon drops!
