mmmmm i’ve been bad lately…drniking tea, not doing tasting notes….generally i’m just really tired these days. Wedding planning and vacation planning are exausting. Plus work has slowed down, so i find that i’m bored and apathetic at work so i’m trying to make projects to keep my entertained lol
I have had this a number of times since omgsrsly restocked me. It’s still going strong in terms of my general like for this tea so that makes my a happy camper :)
Final tea of the evening because i am beat. Didn’t get anywhere with sipdowns today but given that i have a veritable mess of teas in my house from MissB, i’m ok with that lol instead i tried a few of those teas, so that i can divy them up faster and get them out to friends heh. Still loving this tea…. thank you again omgsrsly for the introduction.

I’ve been mostly Mia for a couple days, as I’m in ottawa trying to find my wedding dress in 3 days of glorious backs to back dress craziness. Toda….we found it. The search is over! The only dress that I actually put on and smiled at, rather than my usual…well this is nice… I could wear this. So we did it. Best part of all of it? Super inexpensive dress because we found a sample size on sale, and even with alterations, it’ll be cheaper than every other dress that I looked at! One more thing off the wedding list…oh happy day. Celebrated tonight with a few cups of this delicious tea that is back in my cupboard thanks to the awesome generosity of omgsrsly me and this tea? We’re besties!

the tea…it is all gone. fini! done! over. Having a last cup of this delicious tea while i watch a little tv before bed. I’m exausted and need to try to get to bed early so i’m enjoying it with this one. I’ll have to pick up more of this from Steam, once i get my cupboard a little more under control. It’s delicious!

I needed a cup of delicious tea after the last cup. So even though it’s late and i’m falling asleep in my chair, i’m having a cup of this. A great contrast to the sweet licorice taste in my mouth. blech. I like this tea a lot…too bad i didn’t think to make it a latte tonight heh.

mmmm having a cup of this while hanging out on the balcony watching the rain roll in. dark gloomy clouds, bringing the fresh scent of rain to clean away the day’s dirt and mess. i adore rain..sadly ontario just doesn’t do rainstorms like alberta…the kind where you just want to run in to the middle of the street and dance in the rain…cool droplets of rain, splattering on the hot, dry sidewalks, sizzling as they hit the pavement until the rain begins to overtake the concrete jungle…pooling water, as it travels across the slate grey…searching for a way into the soil…

I want it to rain in St. Louis too. We keep getting predictions for rain, & even some thunder, but sadly, no water falling from the sky. My garden is thirsty, as is my soul.
Mine too Terri – we’ve been in a drought here in Texas for years now. I have a few flowers and I water my trees and that’s it. I hope you’re feeling better.
I’m getting there. I told my folks next year I’ll bring them here for their anniversary.
I’m so jealous you get to watch the storms. I tried to go outside but TK and I were absolutely drenched in no time and she just wanted to stomp in puddles. On the road. With the cars. So I brought her back while she kicked and streamed and wistfully looked at the lightning from the basement window. :P

last cup of the day! mostly because i’ll be peeing all night and because i wanted something to drink while catch up with a show before bed. I’ve been trying to get a bit more sleep these days only because it will stop me from letting the hulk out at work. Soooo it’s this cup, a good book or show and a happy sigh that i should be able to hit 150 by the end of the weekend…maaaybe even the start heh.

this one really makes me happy at night. it’s like a kick in the pants sort of tea but yet not. Enjoying this one while working our way through season 4 of fringe and catching up on hannibal. This week is going to be a doozy so we’re trying to have a quiet evening. I love the chocolate and spicy kick to this tea. There are some really great gems out there from companies…you just have to have awesome friends who share them with you :)
Final Count: 182 [70 samples = fake cupboard at 112 with a week and a half to go! 1 tea from October left in my cupboard and 4 from December…not too shabby]

Mmmmmfinal cup of tea. Shouldn’t be drinking this one as it’s a more recent purchase but damnit I want the teas that I want today! Lol. I still love this one a lot – such a unique pairing of flavours that really work. So happy omgsrsly introduced this one to me.

Seriously…this was tucked away from when i picked it up in vancouver but since i have to divy up cavo’s teas, i’m allowed to open it! and open it i did… now i have to try not to drink it all because man oh man there is something i just love the crap out of in this tea. I SHOULD try it with milk again but tonight i just wanted it…NAO! and i’m in happy land.
Final Count: 145 yes..it’s gone up, my butiki order arrived, but before that i was down to 133! go me! So we’ll see how tomorrow goes and aim for….maybe 135 over the weekend? we’ll see…something like that haha

sipdown! I have had a few cups of this now and i am loving it – resteeps quite nicely. I’m sending the remaining cup or so off to Missb to try out which makes me giggle a little since this particular tea will be travelling halfway across the country and back.
My only problem with this tea is the name…i have no idea why but after dark makes me think of mint chocolate..like after eights…so i kept expecting mint. However, there is no mint to be found and this is still deliciously tasty! thanks so much for sending this my way omgsrsly

So so sad. This tea was blah and watery for me today, even though I used lots of leaf and also added cream.
In other news, TODAY I am sore and soooo hungry. HANGRY! EAT ALL THE THINGS! I forgot that it’s the day after the day after the hike that I always get hit with the sore and the hunger. Whoops. I’ve eaten breakfast and lunch, and am hoping for second lunch but I don’t get to go home for another 5 hours or more. I might have to go buy some potato salad…
Preparation
I do really like this one. Definitely nicer than the other berry puerh I have. Perhaps because it has the nut and comes off as more bread-like, but still nicer.
With a touch of milk tonight. Yes, real milk to go with my real eggnog. I’m still stuffed up, but I do prefer cow’s milk to the almond milk I’ve been drinking all week. (Yay for increasing my lactose tolerance!)

I actually read it as “hazelnut” about 4 times, and got super excited (idk, hazelnut pu’erh isn’t something I’ve encountered). When I finally noticed the “berry” part, my interest waned, since I don’t think I care for berry pu’erhs. Lol.
Ahaha! It’s hazelnut and strawberry. Kittenna, I’m now adding a sample into your box/baggie/thing. It’s like nutty baked sweet bread with berries in. So tasty.
Well, I do like strawberry more than “generic berry” usually…!

This is very nice, I like it a lot. I just wish it had more caffeine! Maybe I should go get a coffee or something, since the other tea I brought today is an herbal wellness tea. :)
