I was having some breathing problems, so I thought that I would pick up a tea that would help with my breathing. I wasn’t sure what to get, but luckily, I ran into this stuff at my grocery store. It was cheap and tasty, but I can’t gage whether or not it actually works.

Either way, the blend of ingredients is great as its own tea, as the licorice and other ingredients make a tasty, fruity and generally powerful tea. It’s very present and very powerful in flavor.

I got this tea on the recommendation of another Steepster after I reviewed Yogi’s Breathe Deep tea, and as such I cannot help but compare the two.

I found this tea to be all right, but frankly a bit bland, especially after drinking the Breathe Deep. It also has a slight but noticeable bitter undertaste to it. The packaging recommended adding honey, which did eliminate the odd undertaste and make the tea smoother and a little richer. While Breathe Deep has a very strong licorice and eucalyptus flavor and smell, Breathe Easy is much, much lighter on both.

I did not notice the almost immediate easing of my tightened airways with Breathe Easy that I noticed with the Breathe Deep, though I think it did help some.

Ultimately, although this is an okay tea, I won’t be buying any more because I like the Breathe Deep so much better. However, for those who don’t like the strong flavoring in the Breathe Deep, Breathe Easy may be a good choice. It’s not bad; it’s just not, well, my cup of tea.

One of my friends gave me several bags of this when I had laryngitis. While I am not usually a fan of fennel or licorice, I LOVED the way this tea soothed my throat. I always keep a box around and hand out teabags to friends when they are sick or suffering from a tired throat.

Also, if you are the sort that likes to make mixed drinks involving tea, this tea pairs perfectly with a shot of whiskey and a squeeze of lemon.

I’m quite fond of this tea. It has a rich earthy tone in my opinion. Opening the box and the first sip both remind me of running around in the front yard when I was little. I usually leave 1 or 2 teabags in about 18oz of boiled water and go about whatever else I’m doing…if I’m in a rush, 10 minutes later I drink it…but I have left it to steep for as long as 45 minutes without having it go bitter (and since I find most teas to be too bitter for me, it’s a nice thing to forget a cup and not suffer for it). I do tend to add a tbsp of local honey to enhance the flavor further.

It’s organic, it’s peppermint, it’s organic peppermint tea. There’s not much else to say about it. Useful for the evenings when even the slightest hint of caffeine would leave you staring at the ceiling all night.

My mother started me on Traditional Medicinals Echinacea when I was 7. I know echinacea is good for the immune system, but I like to drink this because it has a nice, mildly sweet flavor. The lemongrass and spearmint (the spearmint being quite obvious, but harmonious) in the blend make it more of an everyday tasty tea than an herbal tea only used for medicinal purposes (i.e. Valerian root).

The only ingredient in this tea is spearmint. That being said, it’s simple, non-caffeinated, and easy to brew. A nice tea for colds, cold days, nightcaps, and, as the package says, children.

Besides, spearmint may help regulate testosterone production (like lavender), so it may be good for ladies who’re hairer than they should be

Yep, I’ve definitely got a sore throat which is usually the first warning sign I have if I’m about to come down with a cold or fly virus. This tea, if nothing else feels nice on my throat – I added a teaspoon of wildflower honey for extra ‘lubrication’. ;)

Its taste isn’t really remarkable in any way; it’s pepperminty, but it’s a mild peppermint, not the full-on cold, mouth numbing sensation I usually get with straight peppermint tea. Its also got a slightly herb-y sort of quality to it, though nothing near so obnoxiously ‘good for you’-tasting as RoT’s Get Clean tea.

I have a queasy stomach and sore throat right now, so I brewed up a mug of this tea. It’s very minty but there’s also a vegetal/herbal taste to it. Nothing else in particular stands out – it’s much better tasting than a lot of medicinals teas and a lot of medicines in general (anyone else ever consumed Buckley’s Cough Syrup? Urgh!).

I do notice a marked improvement, even half an hour after drinking it my throat doesn’t feel as irritated and I no longer feel like I’m about to toss my cookies any second. So this tea gets major pointage for its effectiveness.

Throat Coat tea really works! I recommend brewing a cup the minute you feel a tingling in your throat. As someone who used to get a lot of sore throats, this tea has helped me fend off many before they got worse.

It’s not for everyone—some do not like the licorice taste, but I don’t mind.

Like all the Traditional Medicinals-I recommend steeping this one for at least 5 minutes.

I usually steep this tea covered for a good 10-15.

I was not about to be snowed in alone, so I stayed with my fiance, and we watched more Star Trek and started sorting the living room. Which kicked up tons of dust, to which I am allergic. Not to mention the fact that he developed sinus problems and a cough, and he has two cats. Inevitably, I now also have a sore throat. Now that I’m back in my dorm (decided to go ahead and brave it, but he had to take my car, since the parking lot isn’t plowed), I have all my tea varieties available. There’s at least a delay tomorrow, so I can sleep in again! Yay! I’m going to be so sluggish getting back into school mode, but at least I feel rested!
Oh, the tea. Licorice isn’t my favorite, but at least it is sweet. This tea does a pretty good job soothing the throat. Too bad it’s so expensive… Due to my cheap, dying laptop’s touchpad working only sporadically, I had to borrow a mouse, which keeps banging into my mug on my cluttered desk. Better sort, I guess.

For a vocalist, throat health is vital. This relieves a sore throat like nothing else I’ve tried. It has a pretty strong, earthy but kind of sweet flavor, and tastes bitter when steeped too long. Once, when I let it get cold before I finished, it had a rather unpleasant taste.

Not a bad bagged tea. I did get the nutty, “twiggy” flavor of this tea.
