If you eat a meal that is to large or you feel so full you are uncomfortable this tea is the solution, no need for tums or Rolaids or just being miserable one cup of this will put you back in your comfort zone. As well as fixing tummy troubles it tastes great and has a mild minty flavor
Preparation
Today I was in need of some pain relief so I brewed a cup of this. I then promptly forgot about it and let it steep for probably around 25 minutes. Interestingly enough ,it didn’t taste like I had over-brewed it, and it didn’t taste as bland as usual. Not a bad cup, and certainly helps the cramps, wether it’s a placebo or not. :)
I tried this as a replacement to my Refresh by Tazo staple to see how it would hold up to easing my stomach. It was hard to wait for a 15 minute steep time to complete, but I brewed up two cups at the same time, as it recommends 2-3 cups. The herbs blend together nicely. I can taste the mint and licorice. It leaves the throat a little dry. I’d drink this again when the situation arises.
Preparation
Ugh, only I could be careless enough to catch cold in August of all things. Couldn’t I have waited a few days for it to at least be September? That is slightly less embarrassing.
Anyway, yeah, so my throat hurts which is a bummer AND my belly is unhappy, so out comes the throat coat! This tea is really amazingly effective and, although I could do without the anise, it doesn’t taste too bad either.

My sentiments exactly!
I’ve had a sore throat for the past couple of days and had totally forgotten until today that I had a box of this! I’ve been drinking this when I’m sick since I was a child, so even aside from its actual effectiveness, I find the taste quite comforting. Of course, the fact that it IS quite effective is a happy bonus!
Like others, I’m not a huge fan of licorice, but I don’t mind it in this case, it goes well with the other flavors, and the sweet note that it adds to the taste was always a nice counterpoint to the miserableness of being sick as a child. Honestly, before I started making it myself, I used to think that my mother sweetened it to make me drink it. But no! Just naturally sweet.
Preparation
I’m actually pretty fond of this tea. Recommended for relief of menstrual symptoms, I actually drink this regularly when I want something very light and gentle. A really unassuming tea, I don’t think you’d buy it for the taste (it’s very gentle, but not bland), but that shouldn’t drive you away.
I can’t stand the taste of this tea, but I want to drink it for its health benefits. I’ve tried combining it with orange spice herbal tea, peppermint tea, and mint medly … Any other suggestions?
Preparation
I have some grenadine syrup that adds some nice pomegranity flavor; wonder if that would cover up whatever it is that you don’t care for….
what sort of flavors do u tend to like? I like like it b/c it doesn’t taste like chamomile to me which i can’t take at all unless it has something added to it.
Got a bag of this from a co-worker when I was attacked by some cold germ. Though my throat wasn’t the sorest (so I can’t attest to the magical healing/soothing properties), it was a very comforting tea and I could see why this has a cult following at my workplace in the winter. The tingling sweetness in the back of my throat was nice. The licorice/fennel smell out of the bag really hit me square in the face, but the taste is much more subdued and mellows out nicely (a plus for me, who isn’t the biggest fan of black licorice.) I’ll have to get a box for when I really do have a sore throat and try it out!
Preparation
This is a great tea. The lemon puts a nice kick on the original throat coat which I enjoy on the regular flavor. It still carries the same root aroma/taste. If they made a bulk mix pack of the two, I would alternate between the two.
