I met up with a friend for a Flight Of Tea, which is four teas and paired with seasonal bites! It was a dreary rainy day but the shop was dry and comfy. We were seated at a high topped table with bar stools. They also had a few comfy chairs behind us. When we arrived it was empty but as we chatted it filled with other customers and all seats were quickly taken.
The Flight of Tea required a reservation. They also assisted customers in picking out teas for their home cupboards. The room we were in appeared to be more of a shop than a sit an enjoy a cup of tea place. There was a function room in an adjoining space but it was closed off.
The owner was very knoweldgable and talked about her travels sourcing the teas. She hosts tea events and lectures, in addition to running her shop.
A cozy spot tucked out of the way with a thorough tea menu and the best Dutch cookies ever. The owner is always on site and the store area offers a wide array of cups, mugs, pots, teas and even flavored sugar.
The Cozy Tea Cart is an excellent sourcing tea shop that promotes a healthy lifestyle through their offering of premium whole-leaf tea and tea-infused food products.
Their mission is to foster tea appreciation through continuous customer education and public awareness by offering professional tea tasting events in the comfort of one’s home or place of business (groups of 15-20) friends or business associates can be led through a sampling of teas while learning about their country of origin and how the tea is manufactured. Tea tastings are generally 1 1/2 hours long.
The Cozy Tea Cart prides itself in its uniqueness of providing excellent service, and to encourage those with a fondness for tea to learn more about tea and its health benefits through Tea Lectures, and its Tea with Authors series (second Tuesday of the month), and offering the occasional “Afternoon High Teas” during the summer months.
