I’m giving this one four stars since I’ve only been to this location once and had a bad experience. The vibe was just not Portland and not positive. The staff were gossiping and saying a lot of judgemental rude things and there were people talking loudly on their phones and sitting down complaining about little things. I ordered a hot cup of tea and a bunch of tea to take home and try and it went ok until I got outside and realized they had overcharged me. Not sure if this was a one time experience at this specific location or not but I will report back at some point. Their teas are tasty!
Their bubble tea is their strongest selling point. The quality is superb and it’s on the cheaper end of a lot of bubble teas. I love the atmosphere as well — the one on NW 23rd is cute and it’s a nice experience to relax on the couch and go through their doodling notebooks.
I’ve been to the one on Sellwood as well, but it was a weekend and too crowded to stay. I hope to visit there again on a less crowded day because the atmosphere seemed incredibly nice.
I come here for the Bubble tea but their regular tea menu has a fabulous variety. They serve a selection of hot bubble tea flavors. If you’ve never had hot bubble tea, you’re missing out. I find their tea menu easy to navigate and really appreciate the descriptions they provide for each blend.
I really love this place, the tea selection is fantastic. They really take the time to brew your tea. I just wish it wasn’t always so busy and finding a place to sit wasn’t so awkward. Other than that it is one of my favorite places. Great atmosphere, comfy chairs and most importantly, great tea!
I love this place! I had the pleasure of working here while I lived in Portland. They taught me most of what I know about tea, and inspired me to learn more. Not to mention they have the best selection and variety of tea I have ever seen in a shop. I love the coconut puchong & irong goddess of mercy.
I love the atmosphere and the selection. I recommend the Phoenix Bird Oolong Tea
