I love the Kuan Yin as it is the place that turned me on to the necessity of tea cozies nearly 20 years ago. I don’t go very often, but am always pleased by the quality of the brew and the nice quiet vibe.

I went here all of the time when I lived in Seattle (Wallingford). This is the tea house that I have been longing for since I left back in ’98. Knowledgeable staff, great atmosphere, and great tea (prepared well, too). If you are in Seattle, go here if you have a chance.

A good place to stop by with your laptop and get some work done. The teas are very yummy, I’ve never had a bad cup here. Sometimes the menu seems a little less adventurous than others in Seattle, but this is a great quiet atmosphere.
