This sheng is soft, sweet and vegetal, like underripe melon. It’s quite a distinct flavor profile, none of the tart apricots you often get with yunnanese sheng. Maybe different processing? It was the cheapest sheng on the site when I bought it and is well worth it if you’re curious what a sheng made in Vietnam tastes like.
