The leaves are fresh dark green. They produce a bright, shiny and clear light yellow brew. The open leaves are just very lightly oxidized and very delicate.

2. Scents
High notes of fresh spring flowers and thick grass, just cut. The flowery fragrances start first and are progressively replaced with the fat, butter fragrances of very high Oolong tea. This smell lingers on the palate and comes back to the nose with a hint of freshness.

3. Taste
Delicate, light, fresh and sweet in taste and aftertaste. It’s pleasing and round with no hint of bitterness, even in competition mode (3 gr for 6 minutes).

Conclusion: these leaves were picked rather young. The taste isn’t as thick as in Da Yu Ling, but its light sweet and fresh aromas are just delicious!

Dang this is another winner for sure! Super unique for a high mountain oolong. Very floral but in a way that is different to any tea I’ve had. I’m so bad with flower smells, but seems like gardenia maybe? Just a (uneducated) guess.

No bitterness, astringency, sweetness. Very smooth. Velvety smell with thick mouthfeel. Good longevity at 7-8+ infusions.
