Description:A wonderful fenghuang dancong of the rather lighter kind, lightly roasted over lychee charcoal. Yelaixiang is a flower, latin telosma cordata or literally fragrance that comes in the night. Picking material from high altitude on Mount Wudong, blended from two sub-varieties of Shuixian from Spring 2016 harvest and Shuixian Spring 2014.
Character: In the fragrance a beautiful blossom and fine cinnamon, freshly melted snow and alpine herbs. Spicy in the infusion, creamy soft, buttery with fresh citrus notes, plus a slightly tart freshness, enchanting.
