Sipdown (2998)!

This sipdown came from a tea swap with Sewwie on IG, and was also one of my Mugtober pairings from this past week. The mug was a wheel thrown “tavern style” mug in a deep red and black colour with a “Dungeon Master” placard on the front. It’s the one I usually drink from when I’m watching different D&D livestreams like Critical Role or D20…

I actually have a few Critical Role blends I probably could have chosen to go with this, but I wanted to get this sipdown in and I thought that the name was pretty on point given the context around the mug. As far as the tea goes, it was definitely spiced with a warm, crawling heat from the ginger in the brew that closed out in a pleasant sweetness from the large amount of fennel. It was definitely cozy, although not a profile that I find myself pulled towards typically. I enjoyed it in the moment though!
